The Reset Cycle
The apartment is still arranged the same.
The lights flicker the same way. The voicemail is still saved. The second plate still waits on the table.
The person who once belonged to this life may never return.
But if everything remains recognizable enough… perhaps there will still be another chance to try again someday.
The Reset Cycle is a short atmospheric psychological interactive narrative about repetition, preservation, postponed grief, and the quiet desperation of trying to keep the possibility of “trying again later” alive.
Reconstruct routines. Preserve memories. Repeat evenings that no longer truly exist.
Over time, the reconstruction itself slowly becomes more real than the original memory.
Features:
- Atmospheric branching narrative
- Multiple emotional endings
- Repeating cycle structure
- Memory and familiarity decay systems
- Quiet psychological horror through emotional stagnation
- Playable directly in the browser
A game about preserving a possibility long after the reality is gone.
